I see no difference between the purposed PawSox deal and the broken promise sold to the taxpayers in order to fund the Convention Center. This building was not to cost us as taxpayers anything, but yet it continuously costs us $25-30 Million dollars a year to keep open. This project only benefited the individuals who profited from its construction and services while costing the taxpayers.
This misuse of tax dollars must be stopped immediately. The building should be sold at market value, and the revenue generated should be injected into our crumbling school buildings as a one-time state grant. This legislature continues to prove that it does not learn from the mistakes of its past. Our Senate expects us to forget the hundreds of Millions wasted on similar projects and fund the next venture to benefit their wall st buddies.
